Hey all!

I figured I would put up a quick update on my computer. I ended up taking it from Tech Squad and their bull shit and taking it to Future Shop (where they have always been awesome). I should have done that a LONG time ago. My computer died the first week of NOVEMBER 2010 - if I had've taken it to Future Shop - I probably would have gotten it back by the end of the SAME MONTH!! Ah well you live you learn. I will never take my stuff to Tech Squad or recommend it to anyone ever again.

I took my computer to Future Shop on New Years Eve and I got a call from them saying that my video card was basically fried. They managed to boot my computer up but due to some sort of error message they want to do a full system restore and wipe the hard drive. To me that sounds a lot better than Tech Squad saying that I needed to pay them up front to get and ship a motherboard from the US and then pay for them to fix my computer with it.

I got a 1 TB external hard drive for Xmas! I am going to be taking it over to Future Shop today so they can back up ALL of my data before starting the process of restoring my computer. My data and projects (and commissions) I was working on will NOT be lost!!! There is a light at the end of the tunnel yay!!

If all goes well its quite possible I'll have my computer back by the end of the weekend. (Me and my sis don't have a car - so it takes a bit of strategy to get my tower from place to place).
